Careers in Neuroscience Most neuroscience majors have interests in careers in research and very often go on to obtain advanced degrees and Westminster students have entered into a variety of PhD, medical school programs.
PhD programs that Westminster students have entered include: McGill University (Montreal Neurological Institute) Indiana University The Ohio State University University of Pittsburgh Georgia State University University of Illinois University of Montana Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine University of Aarhus (Denmark) In recent years, several Westminster graduates obtain positions as technicians in research laboratories before moving into a graduate program. Westminster neuroscience alumni are now faculty members, staff scientists or hold post-doctoral positions at universities and colleges.
