Fundraising

--We made $180 from selling candy bars! Thank you to all that sold and especially for Damaris for selling over 30!!

--Amy is still missing $30 dollars from the candy bars money so TURN YOUR MONEY IN ASAP!

--We have to fundraise or SGA will not fund our club!!!

Psi Chi

--Applications are available in the registar's office

Requirements to join are:

-Top 35% of your graduating class

-3.5 GPA in the psychology classes

-4 psychology classes completed

-The club is between 30-35 dollars to join for national dues! It is impressive club to be a member for!

--Return applications to registar office

Dues

-If you've received an e-mail about dues, pay ASAP. These dues are for nationals not for the club's budget.

-Darlene McCoy (psychology department secretary) will take the money or give it to Beth personally. Do not send through the school mail!

Pizza and movie night

Post possible dates on shared folder as well as movie ideas!

Excuses

Post a note on the shared folder or e-mail me (Laura Nelms) if you are going to miss a meeting. After the second unexcused absence, the executive board has decided that the member will have to pay a $2 fine that will go in the club's budget! Please just send me an excuse BEFORE the meeting and everything will be fine.

-Election of new officers will be coming soon!

-Webpage will be up and running very soon as well!

-Dr. Gittis will be having pizza night at his house. He'll teach us how to make his famous pizza. Date will be announced (end of February or beginning of March)!

February 13th (leave at 6:00) - Skinner's daughter will be speaking at Allegheny College. For those that want to go, please post it on the shared folder so we can get a count! Thanks!

-At Slippery Rock there will be a science fair where volunteers can be the judges for grades 7-12th. Free lunch will be provided as well as transportation. It is from 11-3:30 on March 1st. Diana has the brief applications so pick on up if you are interested (deadline Feb 15th). Dr. Gittis will be going as well so come if you want!
