- Learn about empiricism through completing the pre-course
- Form and begin working with your lab team to create your first
team wiki with a vodcast.
- Begin working on NIH Protecting Human Research Participants
Begin this lab by completing the pre-course assessment. That data
from the assessments will be used for class examples and practice
in date coding and analysis.
Identify the attributes that you
think are important for lab teams. Based on those attributes teams
will be formed that are as equivalent as possible. Your team must
have a name by the end of class. You must also make
a Flip video of your team as a
vodcast, upload it to YouTube and make a link to it in your
first team wiki.
Register for the
NIH Protecting Human Research Participants Certification and
begin the course. You must present evidence of course completion
before you engage in peer review, and you should complete it
before the we begin Chapter 2, ethics.
Be sure to read the lab rubric. You get credit for
becoming part of a team and completing the tutorial. The rubric
explains the grading of the wiki.
